Description Lead help desk team and design, configure, deploy, and maintain corporate network infrastructure and IT security systems. Ensure that all corporate infrastructure is secure and limit disruption to the company at large. Job DutiesResponsibilities bull Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable and secure operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization bull Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes bull Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues bull Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure bull Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures bull Lead helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions bull Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance bull Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services bull Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure bull Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes bull Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology bull Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software bull Manage and track the IT department's annual budget bull Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance bull Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of IT systems bull Analyze and provide objective advice on IT security requirements, and seek improvements on a continuous basis bull Design, analyze and implement efficient IT security systems bull Find cost-effective solutions to cybersecurity problems bull Identify and protect company assets through the development and implementation of security best practices, protocols, and standards bull Monitor for and investigate security incidents bull Liaison between company and government to ensure employees understand and comply with government security requirements. bull Perform functions to maintain facility clearance level including security vulnerability assessments, self-inspections, and reporting bull Manage internal programs for security education, training, and awareness bull Develop, deploy, and manage insider threat reporting and training program bull Coordinates the initiation and processing of purchase orders, supply sources, work orders, and maintenance requests bull Ensure the safety of staff and customers within the workplace bull Other duties as assigned Requirements Technical Skills Required bull G Suite Administration (Gmail, Drive, Vault, etc) bull Endpoint Protection Solution management and configuration (preferably Crowdstrike) bull Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V) bull Cloud architecture and administration (AWS) bull Active Directory architecture, deployment, and administration bull Network infrastructure design, security, and maintenance (Sonicwall, Ubiquiti Unifi Edge appliances preferred) bull Linux server administration bull Deploy administer backup operations and storage appliances (Veeam, Synology NAS, Dell EMC SAN) bull PBX-based phone system administration and maintenance bull SIEM architecture, deployment, and administration bull Familiarity with server monitoring solutions bull Work with tools like Java, Tomcat, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Drupal, Wordpress, MySQL bull Windows 710, Server 20162019, Linux, and Mac OS X Experience Required bull 3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience bull System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, AWS, or other network related fields are a plus bull Experience leading and managing projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies bull Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization bull Excellent leadership and decision-making skills bull Strong knowledge of project management principles bull Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities bull Understand patch management bull Knowledge of firewalls, antivirus and IDPS concepts bull Experienced in installing security software and documenting security issues Education Required Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity
