About the Position: This position is located at TRADOC, EEO Office, Fort Eustis, VA. Fort Eustis, Virginia is located in Newport News, between historic Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. Local Transportation via the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) bus service to the surrounding area which includes Hampton, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach, York County, Gloucester, Suffolk, and Smithfield.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analytical studies involving the measurement of product and process effectiveness and program evaluation.
  • Assess systematic factors related to EEO program effectiveness such as regulatory compliance, work-flow, quality controls and availability of necessary resources.
  • Develop written correspondence to include position papers, information papers, instructions, letters, and special reports.
  • Provide Equal Employment Opportunity program administration to include providing technical guidance, direction, and assistance to Command.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) communicating with managers and leadership on all aspects of the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) programs, such as managing Disability and Anti-harassment programs; AND 2) developing and implementing the organizations Employment Opportunity Programs.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the GS-12 grade/level position or equivalent in the federal service.
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
