Description The Contractor shall provide for the tasks documented in this narrative on a best effort, Level of Effort (LOE) basis with the number of FTEs listed under labor categories. SAIC is seeking technical support with system engineering projects and QRC developments to assist the Customer's organization to solve complex and challenging problems. The system engineering and quick reaction capability (QRC) team will analyze, investigate and provide in-depth synopses of Sponsor projects and technical initiatives from a wide range of disciplines including network engineering, GPS technologies, data center operations, satellite data transport architectures and communication electronics design. The system engineering and QRC team will support prototype development for the above initiatives in support of Customer's QRC efforts.Work Requirement:SAIC's team shall work closely with Project team leads and the Sponsor office on activities including multi-site architecture definition, identification of hardware and applications needed to complete development processes, conducting technical security and risk assessments and mitigations, advanced systems monitoring design and implementation, and developing and implementing test plans for commercial off the shelf (COTS) and custom developed systems and microelectronics. In addition to technical responsibilities, position responsibilities include developing and providing assessment briefings, attending customer meetings, and participating in all Sponsor activities related to the assignment and ensuring deliverables meet all relevant quality and security standards. The future employee shall act as member of technical team at design reviews, Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), Monthly Status Reviews (MSRs), and major project milestones.Qualifications Mandatory Qualifications:* TS/SCI with polygraph* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar. Relevant years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.* Demonstrated experience or knowledge of standard system engineering processes and documents such as CONOPS, system requirements, architecture definitions, requirements traceability and verification matrices, etc. * Demonstrated experience with satellite systems and communications * Demonstrated experience or knowledge of GPS systems or technology* Demonstrated experience or knowledge of RF Optional Requirements:* Experience with NTM Overview SAIC is a premier technology integrator solving our nation's modernization and readiness challenges.
