Also, this role will ensure that all ships are operated in full compliance with maritime regulatory and environmental requirements. Duties: Manage vessels in compliance with International and US maritime regulatory requirements. Respond to Incident Response with a resolution to the issue. Support the staff onboard with digital charts and publications Travel to different vessels to conduct underway training, auditing, and investigations when needed. Conduct safety sea audits Communicate with the project cargo team to ensure safe and successful transport of special cargoes. Qualifications: Must have a bachelor s degree in Marine Transportation and/or Maritime Business Have experience in marine operations onboard ships as well as shore-side Knowledge of SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, ISPS, MLC, STCW Codes.
