EACH DAY MATTERS! We have an IMMEDIATE NEED for an API Integration Software Developer to provide Agile DevOps support to mission critical systems. As an API Integration Software Developer on this program, you will have the opportunity to designs, develops, and maintains software applications using a tailored SAFe Agile DevSecOps Scrum process. This role uses best practices and patterns to perform design, development using Java, Springboot, Hibernate. An individual in this role is also expected to perform automated testing and unit testing using Katalon and JUnit, while performing automated deployments of software modules using a Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools pipeline. Primary Responsibilities Participating in daily scrums, performing software requirements analysis, risk identification, risk mitigation, and collaboration across teams to support the Agile software development life-cycle Participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing by accessing current and legacy proprietary Palantir products, tools, and system configuration (Foundry, Gotham and the like) on prem and in the cloud. Develop and integrate custom developed software solutions to leverage automated deployment technologies Participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement, using Java, Hibernate, SpringBoot developing and directing software system validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon Participate in the development of documentation. Coordinate closely with customers, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional areas to communicate project statuses and initiatives to support the Agile software development life-cycle. Analyze data to coordinate the installation of new systems or modifications to existing systems. Use of industry leading tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Unix bash scripting, Java, JavaScript, Oracle, Spring, Tomcat, Git and HTML. Apply best practices and standard operating procedures Create innovative solutions to meet the technical needs of customers. Basic Qualifications Experience in current and legacy Palantir products including systems and configuration settings. Flexible cross-training to also provide systems engineering, software development, training, security, and testing is also desired. Must have experience with Web Services and some DevSecOps experience. Perform systems software development, including deployment of build artifacts across different environments leverage GitFlow constructs Communicate key project data to team members and build team cohesion and effectiveness. Develop and execute project plans. Leverage Atlassian tool suite like JIRA and Confluence to track activities Deep understanding of API design concepts and standards (REST, SOAP, etc.) In-depth experience in the software development lifecycle, with experience delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices Direct experience utilizing software testing/system validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon Experience with development in Commercial Cloud Platforms (ex, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and leveraging cloud data services (ex: S3, RDS, EFS) Experience in AWS Data management services (Elastic, Map Reduce, Lambda, and Kinesis) Participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement using Java, JavaScript, Python, Bash, SpringBoot/Spring, Hibernate, C++, Angular, Joomla and Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Java Experience with NodeJS, Ruby on Rails, Spark, Tableau, Elastic Search, Nagios, reactsJS, UIBootstrap, Katalon and Human Centered Design. Proficient with common SAFe Agile practices, service-orientated development environment and tempo Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Well versed with using version control systems Well versed with using issue/problem tracking systems Candidate must have Bachelors with 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree. Clearance/Citizenship Candidate must be US Citizen.
