Serve as subject matter expert regarding branch functions, systems, policies and procedures. Support executive management in developing and executing strategic plans. May act as VP in the incumbent's absence. Responsibilities bull Provide visionary thought leadership to transform and evolve the corporate systems suite of applications from on premise solutions to a cloud first architecture under an integrated anchor platform bull Provide technology guidance and support to the Chief Technology Officer, ISD, business stakeholders and supporting organizations bull Understand product and technology trends, governmentpolicy impacts and industry best practices, evaluate options, and recommend optimal business technology solutions that align with the goals and objectives of the business and Information Services Strategic Plan technology roadmap bull Partner with Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects to determine and define the technical architecture and solutions required to implement and support each division service bull Develop and maintain an understanding of business processes and technology used within service areas to ensure compliance with policy, vendor contractual requirements, procedures, processes and standards bull Support and contribute to the development and implementation of the Information Services Strategic Plan and technology roadmap bull Serve as technical advisor to strategic projects and programs arbitrate across technology disciplines to arrive at timely decisions on technology architecture and design bull Collaborate closely across business units to understand the goals and objectives of key strategic initiatives recommend relevant technology and architecture strategy bull Influence the technology vendor selection process by providing technical expertise in current and emerging technologies, trends and best practices bull Guide and analyze benchmarking, trend analysis and other input to drive continuous improvement and elevate service performance bull Establish comprehensive metrics and reporting to evaluate performance of assigned services to ensure service levels are achieved bull Develop workforce strategy and resource plan (eg, skills, competencies, team size, etc.) for each division service bull Provide technical insight for project and portfolio planning, prioritization, and budgeting process bull Build and maintain relationships with team members, management, key stakeholders and external contacts (eg, vendors, etc.) bull Perform supervisorymanagerial responsibilities o Set direction to ensure goals and objectives align with corporate and division strategy o Select management and other key personnel oversee talent developmentsuccession planning o Collaborate with leadershipexecutive colleagues to developexecute corporate initiatives andor department strategy o Oversee the preparation and execution of division AFP o Manage merit pay in accordance with specified objectives and guidelines bull Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements bull Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience bull Significant experience working in a large-scale IT organization with diverse technologies, solution architectures and customer demands, with responsibility for overseeing various corporate technology applications used across the enterprise (eg, financial management, human capital management, legal, project management, procurement, supply chain, administrative services, and risk management, etc.), preferably in a large financial services organization or other major B2C corporation bull Significant experience in leading large technology initiatives with enterprise level impact and managing vendor relationships bull Significant experience in developing financial business cases to support strategic business initiatives and IT transformation recommendations bull Advanced knowledge of project lifecycles and management methodologies bull Advanced skill to move comfortably between varying business discussions to effectively communicate complex technical issues to non-technical audiences bull Expert situational analysis and decision-making skills bull Advanced problem solving, collaboration, critical thinking, team building, and presentation skills bull Advanced skill leading with diplomacy and tact while maintaining appropriate assertiveness and persistence bull Advanced skill to formulate a strategic vision and define and implement action plans to achieve strategic goals bull Significant experience working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors bull Significant experience in managing and leading professional IT employees bull Significant experience in demonstrating thought-leadership, initiative-taking, decision-making and creativity solving business problems bull Significant experience in resource allocation and management bull Advanced skill to influence, negotiate and persuade to reach agreeable exchange and positive outcomes bull Advanced skill producing desired results and achieving goals and objectives bull Advanced skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely bull Advanced word processing, spreadsheet and
