This individual will specifically be leading teams delivering and expanding highly performant and scalable data products and platforms to drive consumption of data from our enterprise data ecosystem, while driving data engineering best practices. The candidate will also be responsible for designing new solutions to ensure that Capital One is able to increasingly innovate with its data assets. Conduct design and code review to ensure compliance with standards Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree At least 10 years experience in data engineering At least 8 years of experience managing software or data engineering teams At least 4 years of experience with Big Data and data streaming At least 4 years of experience with cloud based data platforms and managed services At least 4 years of experience with Data Lake Infrastructure, Data Warehousing, and Data Analytics tools. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree 15+ years of experience in data engineering 10+ years of experience managing software and data engineering teams 4+ years of experience with AWS 3+ years of experience building and shipping enterprise grade global products in a SaaS organization.
