DescriptionInfoblox is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our growing remote team. This role is responsible for generating and qualifying sales opportunities for follow-up by the direct sales teams. This position entails heavy outbound calling, use of e-mail, and other methods of communication and outreach in order to target and qualify potential prospects.A' This position will report to the Director, Business Development Representatives and be located in your remote home office in the US.A' The Business Development Representative should have a consistent track record of success in calling on senior-level corporate executives and the ability to identify key business issues. As the first line of contact, you need to understand the business needs of our potential customers, be able to think on your feet, and possess the commitment to become an Infoblox product expert. You will have the opportunity to grow within a cutting-edge technology company and gain valuable experience within a world-class sales organization.Responsibilities:Perform presale activities to develop a high-quality lead funnel and maximize these efforts to meet or exceed quotas for calls and qualified meetingsAcquire and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of Infoblox technology in order to be a reliable customer resourceCreate opportunities within SalesforceSchedule meetings with prospective clientsPartner closely with the sales team, specifically the Territory Managers and Sales Executives, to develop and implement appropriate prospect strategies and plans; this includes ensuring that representatives have the essential budget, key party, and project information before handing over the opportunitySupport multiple states within an assigned territoryMaintain timely follow up communication with Territory Managers and Sales Executives post-meetingRequirements:2+ years of successful experience in an outbound sales environment positioning a service or technology solution, software preferredExperience calling on senior executives & technical decision makers within all sized organizationsHighly energetic and motivated, with strong attention to detailA passion for sales and and a sequence tool experience preferredThe Ideal candidate will possess Strong organizational, oral and written communication and customer service skills requiredAbility to organize and prioritize work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent telephone selling skills requiredProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Capable and willing to function according to measurable objectivesSelf-motivating and ability to successfully manage your dayEducation:BS or BA preferredPerks:Work with a world class Sales team in a rapidly growing companyCareer path with opportunitiesA' to growGenerous Paid Time Off policy to promote a healthy work/life balanceAnd many, many more perksIt's an exciting time to be at Infoblox.
