Peraton is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to lead the technical investigations for an forward-looking study in HUMINT analytics. The comprehensive study will address challenging customer requirements to upgrade and modernize a specific current capability. The team will work in partnership with the customer to assess new program requirements, current policies, and recommend changes necessary to implement the future technology and modernize operational practices. The selected individual will work across multiple Intel and DoD components, interacting extensively with senior leaders in both the private and public sectors. The SME lead will interact with the Task Manager, researchers (policy and legal), and other SMEs to evaluate operational impacts associated with the needed changes and to recommend a detailed plan of action to the customer. What you will do * Collaborate with multiple program disciplines to review current practices, study the desired new technology, determine applicable policies, interview stakeholders, and document recommendations, issues, and proposed changes. * Interact extensively across multiple DoD and Intel customers to identify current operational best practices, legal requirements, and required changes. * Provide technical and operational input to plan and execute the study, communicating often with the team and with all customer stakeholders. * Participate in monthly internal program reviews to track performance against targets and metrics. * Participate in monthly/periodic on-site customer program reviews to ensure compliance, satisfaction and seek new areas to add value. * Ensure that all programs are supported with appropriate processes and documentation across all functional areas (Policy, Legal, Operations, Technical Support, etc.) You would be a great fit if you have * 10+ years of experience in the DoD community. * Strong research and analytic skills in Intelligence Related disciplines. * 3+ years of experience working with Human Resourcing, Finance and Security. * Extensive experience analyzing operational requirements, including workflows and policy. * Significant experience working with leaders across multiple DoD and Intel components. * Ability to travel up to 25% (COVID dependent). It would be even better if you have * Military leadership experience managing a supporting staff of subject matter experts. * Expert writing and briefing skills. * Existing relationships with key government stakeholders in the HUMINT community. * Knowledge in Counter-Intelligence and OPSEC Experience. * HUMINT specific Research and Analytic experience. SECURITY CLEARANCE This position requires you to hold and to be able to maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. Candidate must be eligible and willing to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.
