Behavioral Health Quality Improvement (QI) program coordination: Coordinates the design, implementation and evaluation of the comprehensive Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Program to meet the needs of the populations served. Assists in developing focused and/or specialized studies, and periodically monitors and evaluates related performance goals. Collaborates with Behavioral Health and Clinical Care Services to improve the health status of members with chronic conditions based on demographic and epidemiological characteristics. Manages Behavioral Health QI program activities including but not limited to data collection, analysis, monitoring and evaluation of outcomes of Behavioral Health, Addiction and Recovery Treatment Services (ARTS) and Community Mental Health Rehabilitative Services (CMHRS) and the health plan's clinical quality functions; coordinates the design, implementation, data collection and evaluation of quality improvement studies; participates in activities to ensure accreditation and regulatory standards and clinical appropriateness are met. Effectively applies leadership principles including appropriate communication processes that support the Behavioral Health quality improvement program.

Master's Level Degree - COUNSELING OR
Master's Level Degree - PSYCHOLOGY OR
Master's Level Degree - SOCIAL WORK

Experience
Required: Behavioral Health - 3 years

Preferred: Managed Care - 1 year, Quality Improvement - 3 years

License
Required: Drivers License, License Clinical Social Worker, Marriage & Family Thrpt, Registered Nurse

Must possess the knowledge to determine the appropriateness of care according to Virginia Medicaid standards.Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and accreditation process preferred. Bachelor's level degree in nursing with an RN required, or master's level degree in counseling with LPC required, or master's level degree in social work with LCSW required, master's level degree with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy with LMFT required.
