Description SAIC is seeking an Infrastructure Manager for a Civilian contract. The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for performing customer support activities involving the installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Acts as the company engineering representative with overarching responsibility for implementation and optimization of hardware and/or software products and multi-vendor systems. Identifies areas requiring product improvement and approves upgrades and hardware or software engineering change orders. Provides feedback and customer support regarding product performance problems and suggested solutions which may require product exchanges or more complex problem solving. Prepares and conducts special reports and presentations pertinent to company products and services, field operations or other applications. Oversee a team of infrastructure engineers. This job may include any aspect of data center infrastructure support and not limited to software, hardware and network. Principal Duties and Experience Significant experience managing the operations, and maintenance of multiple facilities deployed across multi-site physical (Data Center), virtual and cloud infrastructures. Experience in managing infrastructure operations in a Federal Government environment. Significant experience in the Operations and maintenance of Physical Data Center Facilities. Functionally proficient in the security, IT operations administration and maintenance. Broad-based skills and experiences with IT software solutions and applications. Qualifications Required Bachelor s degree and fourteen (14) years or more relevant experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more relevant experience. Must have 7 years in an IT Operations Management position. Must be experienced with software / hardware virtualization tools such Microsoft Hyper and VMware and with cloud solutions such as Microsoft Office 365, Azure, SharePoint and Amazon Web Services. Must have hands-on experience with server operating systems, firewalls and switches (Cisco, SonicWall, etc.) and backup and disaster recovery solutions. Must have hands-on experience with data center configuration and energy management practices. Must have hands-on experience with major data center migration and consolidation management practices. Personnel should also have security software experience (anti-virus, anti-malware, firewall, encryption, etc.).
