The candidate will support the Government to transform its data systems to meet the needs for rapid discovery and exploitation necessary for decision making. The candidate will support the Government in managing the flow of the data, data ingestion, management, and other areas of data processing and follow specific guidance provided by the Government related to compliance with authorities and oversight policy for data access loading, minimization, retention, and use. Candidate will be operating, managing, and enhancing the operational data environment on day 1 Provide expertise and architecture with Cloud computing environment Lead activities like data wrangling, analytics, and visualization software and programming languages, including analytics methods Project and solution estimation and team structure definition Support Agile Scrum team with planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through to continuous delivery to production Liaise with team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions Engage with Technical Architects and technical staff to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs Demonstrate broad solutions technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction, exerting influence outside of the immediate team and driving change Qualifications TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to successfully complete CSP post program start Bachelor s degree in computer science, data analytics, software engineering, or related technical field A minimum of six years of experience with SQL Service or PostgreSQL A minimum of six years of experience with complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views Minimum of three years of experience with Sybase Experience working in a Government mission Data Exploitation environment (eg, acquiring data, storing data, processing data, analyzing data, visualizing data, turning data into intelligence products, disseminating data, and knowledge management) Understanding of delivery methodology and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture Experience supporting a cloud computing environment (eg, private, hybrid, and/or public) Experience leading and managing cross-functional technology team Experience working with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools Experience with DevOps and Dataops concepts Desired Qualifications - Master s degree Active TS/SCI with CSP security clearance Possess the following certifications: DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II Certification including Security+ Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Cloud Practitioner Certification Experience in non-relational databases such as NoSQL WideTable Experience with scaling complex and high volume relational databases Experience with database administration and security Experience using conceptual data models to inform accurate, effective, and efficient database design Experience leading major programming/scripting languages like Java, C++, PHP, Ruby, Python and/or R Experience in the research and development of applications/services in disciplines such as: Natural Language Processing, machine learning, Conceptual Modeling, Statistical Analysis, Predictive Modeling, and Hypothesis testing Overview SAIC is a premier technology integrator solving our nation's modernization and readiness challenges.
