Position Title: Cost Pricing Analyst/Financial Analyst Duration: 6 months contract to Hire Location: Remote (Candidates from Washington DC or Northern Virginia) Purpose: To provide cost and pricing analysis for contracts pre-award, response to RFP, and contract life cycle. Responsibilities: Create cost pricing narratives with proposal pricing development, lead and implementation of pricing models. Pricing models are both administration and software development type proposals with strong government contracting background. Coordinate with management and other staff members in order to provide current and accurate financial information. Provide Contract financial updates, burns and participation in Cost Proposals. Coordinate and provides regular and appropriate financial status updates to outside vendors and consultants as required. Perform earned value management (EVM). Provide financial reporting, estimation, and resource management information as needed. Provide business case development and analysis. Perform data extraction and analysis. Provide spreadsheets and or powerpoint presentations as requested Maintain financial data and reports for the Company Number of Years Experience Required: 4+ years of government contract finance reporting experience. 4+ years of Financial, government and management reporting at the corporate level. 4+ years of contract and proposal pricing experience. Minimum Education and Certifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field Technical Skills Required: Must have a working knowledge of excel, accounting software such as Deltek, Great Plains, etc., Sympaq preferred. Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Government cost accounting, including developing overhead rates and proposal pricing. Previous hands on finance experience and responsibilities that includes expense coding and monthly project burn reports. Illustrate that the candidate expertise has been both at the customer level and at the CEO/COO level of management. Knowledge of various government contract types and vehicles including CPFF, T&M, and Fixed Price, GWAC, etc. contracts. Familiarity with SOW, RFP and non-competative justification writing desired. Must be highly organized, reliable and have excellent time management skills.
