Summary

The VP Business Enablement will drive a more integrated approach by grouping interconnected activities; Provider implementation/onboarding, Customer Solutions Group (CSG) communication, Business Optimization, Workforce Management, Training, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Provide Project Oversight, develop and leverage methodologies. Increase capabilities regarding AARP branded product marketing and sales (growth); Independently developing cost efficiencies on a year over year basis.
Responsibilities

• Direct the development, maintenance and use of standard new program implementation processes, methodology, and templates.

• Coordinate direction of program set-up, contract configuration and testing to ensure quality product and service delivery; defines and manages key performance measures

• Coordinates all new program business support cross-functionally, including field, operations, technology, lines of business & contracting

• Direct the development and appropriate standards for overseeing complex multimillion dollar provider projects to ensure organizational goal are achieved. Ensure that team members act as effective liaisons between project team(s), ASI and AARP.

• Deploys standard tools and methodologies for oversight of multi-million dollar provider projects across complex organizations ensuring successful outcomes for consumers.

• Oversees Authorized to Offer (A2O) agent training/certification strategy from onboarding through full life cycle to create a consistent understanding of the AARP brand.

• Oversees the development and deployment of training for all CSG staff, including yearly planning and prioritization to ensure effective resource utilization.

• Oversees CSG strategic communication plans with clear business goals, messages, target audiences, dissemination methods and metrics for monitoring impact.

• Optimizes both internal (CSG) and provider performance through the development/deployment of standard processes, KPIs and other methodologies.

• Drives growth opportunity through the identification of new methodologies / distribution models.

• Optimize CSG spend through a highly efficient personnel model.

• Directs the reporting of program results to all stakeholders ensuring insights are meaningful to the receiver.

• Oversees CSG workforce management to ensure optimal use of resources

• Train and develop the team, including preparing developmental talent to assume higher positions of responsibility.

• Direct team members ensuring positive and quantifiable outcomes.

• Manages a non-personnel budget of approximately $5M with year over year efficiencies evidenced.
Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher

• Minimum of 15 years of requisite experience and leadership in insurance, financial services, TQM, or quality engineering

• Senior Leadership experience with Fortune 100 insurance and financial services preferred

• Demonstrated leadership of program project portfolios of at least $50M

• Advanced experience (10+ years) developing and driving business growth strategies for programs in excess of $1B in premium

• Advanced experience (10+ years) developing teams to provide strategic growth support

• Effective and experienced with C-Suite level communication

• Highly collaborative and demonstrated ability to develop strong cross functional relationships

• Strong working knowledge of ASI and AARP functions / relationship a plus

• Demonstrated ability develop and optimize new functions

• Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions on time and within budget

• Experience managing and coordinating technology vendors, consulting firms, and cross functional teams spanning multiple organizations.

• Experience in Client Management at senior and executive levels

• 25% travel required
