Description SAIC is seeking a Project Manager to direct efforts of cross-competency teams, including contractors at multiple locations, and shall serve as the primary interface and POC with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and project issues. This position will be responsible for the following:Successful delivery of a program to a customer, or manage performance of a task or project as part of a larger program under direction of another PM. Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance. Define or contribute to the program baseline then execute the program to comply with baseline requirements. Manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing. Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership. Support business development and program staff management. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee).Provides key input and direction in planning, developing and implementing the program baseline. Identifies key resources to manage and execute to the program baseline. Identifies and analyzes moderate variances, and defines corrective actions. Responsible for a task or project when it is part of a larger program reporting to another PM, or responsible for overall execution as the sole PM for a Category 2 program, Category 3 program(s) with domestic funding, or a Category 3 program(s) with international funding.Manages large size program staff that includes subcontractors or suppliers and task or project leads. Leads internal cross-functional team.Uses standard, well-defined processes, procedures, techniques, or tools that require program-specific modifications. Develops some program specific processes, procedures, techniques or tools.Possesses leadership and management skills that require very little feedback from supervisors. Provides strategic guidance to the team. Escalates and resolves moderate program issues. Provides input to MS on performance reviews, compensation-related actions, and staffing and hiring recommendations. Assists MS in screening and interviewing potential hires. Resolves moderate personnel issues in coordination with MS, HR, and Program Oversight. Qualifications Active TS/SCI is required A minimum of ten years of project management experience managing complex projects An active certification in at least one of the following: Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional or Program Management Professional. Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification. Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Manager (FAC P/PM) Level 3. It is desired that the PM has the following qualifications: Master's degree. A minimum of five years of experience managing projects utilizing non-traditional program management methodologies (eg, Agile) in a big data environment. Experience in an IC, military, or other Government environment performing in a related subject area (eg, project management, engineering, computer science, etc.) to tht of the TO.
