The Senior Financial Analyst consultant will be the primary point of contact for all financial issues, including project spending, planning, forecasting and annual budgeting. In order to provide decision-making support for future company investments, you will also perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments in accordance with public reporting requirements. This Senior Financial Analyst will be placed at the Baltimore, Maryland office.Your responsibilities- Execute improved management reporting by working with Operations and Accounting to more discreetly and accurately track financial results- Execute monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management by analyzing financial results, synthesizing/distilling key trends, assessing future and current business risks, and articulating critical updates- Build positive relationships with key business partners and Finance/Accounting leadership- Cultivate business performance through the use and execution of financial analysis- Work closely with the Functional leads to provide management reporting, accounting and compliance guidance plus ensure alignment of operational initiatives- Advance existing management reporting - analyze financial results, distill and synthesize key issues, communicate integral updates to senior management- Make business, operational, and financial processes to be shared, understood, and repeated by relevant teams- Handle ad-hoc analysis and presentation requestsJob Requirements:- Comprehensive knowledge of Hyperion Smartview- Experience with Essbase- General familiarity with Ad Hoc Reporting- Practical knowledge of Perform Ad Hoc Financial- Demonstrated knowledge of Ad Hoc Financial Analysis- Oracle Essbase experience- Background working with Cash Flow Analysis- Earlier work involving cash flow statements- Oracle Essbase experience required- Strong familiarity with Essbase- Adeptness in month end closings- Cash Flow Forecasts experience highly preferred- Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented- Excellent oral and written communications skills- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint- Skills in critical thinking and the ability to operate effectively with management- CPA or MBA preferred- Highly-accomplished in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended- Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently- Prior experience with process reengineering and optimization- Applicants are required to hold a Finance, Business, or related field BA/BS degree Robert Half Management Resources matches senior-level financial consultants with a variety of unique interim and long-term project opportunities in areas such as internal auditing, mergers and acquisitions, tax initiatives, and much more.
