Accounts Receivable Manager Arlington Virginia Salary: $100K - $115K + a discretionary performance bonus Company: Well managed financially stable government contractor with a very good reputation as a company to work for that has enjoyed a steady history of growth. This is due to an Executive Leadership team that has been very successful working together for many years. There is flexibility with commuting and work schedules with very good benefits that includes paid parking. Position: This is a high visibility role. Also this is a very good opportunity for a government contracting Senior Project Accountant with billing and collections experience who would like to move his/her career forward to the next level. Specific preferred experience: This position requires a candidate to have a business degree preferably in Accounting or Finance who has at least 6 + years of progressively responsible gov. contracting AR, Project Accounting, billing (CPFF, TM, and FFP) and collections experience who has done it all from Project set up, to revenue recognition, unbilled analysis, working with DCAA resolving billing issues, assisting their Controller with the preparation of their Incurred Cost Submission, assist with the year end and DCAA audits, through project close out and final billing experience. Costpoint 7 experience is preferred. Candidate must have good Excel skills. Will have supervisory responsibility for 4 subordinates reporting to this clients Controller. We are looking for an objective Accounts Receivable Manager who combines a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You should be highly organized and detail-oriented and possess the ability to effectively work both independently or in a team setting. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
