Job Description Summary Project Specific Requirements: At least 10+ years development experience supporting IT programs in commercial and/or federal sectors preferred At least 8 years of related experience At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with ORACLE APEX (preferably version 19.1), SQL Developer and other supporting tools At least 2-3 years experience with advanced ORACLE SQL and PL/SQL At least 2-3 years experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS 3) At least 2-3 years experience with Javascript (including JQuery) At least 1-2 years of experience with HTML5 Ability to interpret requirements into design and code to construct a web application Ability to work with little/minimal supervision Resource must have credible skills in Java and SQL in order to assist DM development efforts if required Must be organized and be able to keep up in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities and workflows Must be responsive to PM inquiries and have good communication skills including the ability to lead demonstrations of their development efforts Must be a US Citizen Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform web design and production tasks using WordPress Web Content Management System, and/or SharePoint. - Make use of HTML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery programming languages, and Nintex technology as needed Create and optimize 508 compliant images and PDFs for the web using Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, Illustrator, Fireworks, and Acrobat). - Migrate existing web content from old to new templates and implements template upgrades, and deploy new sites using current template, including configuration of associated files (navigation, heater, footer, etc.). - Perform QA reviews and all applicable testing before returning to client for final review, approval, and clearance. - Perform cross-browser testing and follows all internal approval and clearance processes before posting pages. - Know and continue to keep up-to-date on Section 508 accessibility requirements and ensures all web pages and web files are compliant, and offer suggestions on information architecture, user experience, search engine optimization, 508 compliance, and use of graphics, mobile optimization, and other web best practices. - Review web site statistics (using Site Catalyst, Google Analytics, etc.) and use findings to improve search engine optimization and information architecture as well as to inform customers of site performance and use. - Attend web team meetings, provides valuable input; and maintains strong, positive interoffice and client relations. - Use MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and WinZip software to format and store files as needed. Minimum Requirements: - Typically requires a Bachelor s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience. - Builds productive internal/external working relationships. - Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. - Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
