Yakshna Solutions, Inc. (YSI) is seeking a qualified and experienced Project Manager with extensive experience to work on our federal customer project. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (writtenverbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. This position requires candidates to be qualified for Minimum Background investigation Primary Responsibilities Oversee contractor activities for the contract. Project management and accountability Customer satisfaction Risk management Issues management Quality assurance Schedule management Resource management Requirements A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management and leading software development or modernization projects. Five (5) or more years of experience leading project teams of 10 or more contracting staff. Five (5) or more years of experience creating and maintaining project schedules in MS Project. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred in lieu of a PMP certification a college degree, project management training, and project management work experience equivalent to the entry qualifications to sit for the PMP exam Demonstrated experience in managing systems development projects across the Systems Development Life Cycle phases (ie, Planning, Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, and Operations and Maintenance) Experience in various software development methodologies including, but not limited to, waterfall, prototyping, iterative and incremental development, spiral development, rapid application development, extreme programming and various types of agile methodology Consulting experience in systems development and integration for Federal Government agencies Excellent customer service skills Strong oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with senior leaders within an organization Strong skills in the following key areas including strategic thinking, multi-tasking, conflict management, time management, planning and executing to the defined plan Open communication with all existing vendors already providing support to ensure the teams work together to provide quality products and services. The PM shall have prior hands-on experience creating monthly dashboards and reports Annual Salary 110K plus Benefits
