Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Learning & Organizational Development Specialist who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Learning & Organizational Development Specialist, you will:
• Be responsible for advancing the vision of Adventist Healthcare of world class patient experience by conducting organizational development activities which accelerate performance and productivity, promote employee engagement and contribute to the retention of talent.
• Serve as an internal consultant providing a range of services to build individual, team and organizational capabilities and performance. Provides system-wide and entity-specific training and development with organizational objectives that align with strategic initiatives.
• Build curriculum, and design and implement programs tailored to meet organizational needs and program goals using adult learning theory and other relevant learning models.
• Provide expert facilitation using appropriate organizational development methods and tools. Facilitate formal and informal learning through a variety of methods (in-person, webinars, virtual and blended approaches) and develops measures of success associated with learning and development for clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Gather, analyze and synthesize data on client needs, provide feedback, craft interventions and strategies to meet needs, and collaborate with leaders in the selection and implementation of chosen interventions.
• Stay abreast of new research and methodologies for learning and leadership development. Use industry best practices to influence innovative solutions.
• Collaborate and partner with internal team members and other key partners to design and deliver curriculum that differentiates in both content and delivery method according to core business needs and levels, while emphasizing core capabilities, competencies and behaviors required across the enterprise.
• Serve as leadership coach. Coaches leaders and teams on effective business behaviors, change management tools and resources needed to lead teams.

Qualifications include:
• Required: Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or other related discipline. Master's Degree Preferred.
• Required: 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, Workforce Development or other related field with at least 5 years of full-time work experience as an internal or independent trainer and organizational learning practitioner. Experience should include organizational/adult learning, management, training needs assessment, coaching, and/or related activities. Experience in the healthcare industry and patient experience preferred.
• Certifications: Organizational Development/Facilitation Certification preferred; Executive/Leadership Coaching certification strongly preferred.
• Certifications in any of the following: DiSC, EQ, MBTI, Crucial Conversations, 360's and/or other similar assessments strongly preferred.
