The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading the development and execution of the Talent Acquisition strategy, which aligns with and supports the organizational strategy. The incumbent oversees the full recruitment lifecycle starting from creating employer brand awareness, to the application process, through to the selection and offer stages. Essential job responsibilities: * Develops the Talent Acquisition strategy to support organizational and HR initiatives through analysis of key metrics, knowledge of labor market and HR trends, and liaising with other HR functional areas and organization leaders. * In coordination with the Vice President, Human Resources, establishes and manages a budget for the talent acquisition department. * Develops, assesses, and monitors all recruitment practices to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with applicable legislation and internal HR policies. * Leads the recruitment of executives, senior leadership roles, and exempt level positions. * Develops and maintains relationships with third parties such as search firms, vendors, job websites, social media, post-secondary institutions, and other sourcing outlets. * Oversees training and development of all Talent Acquisition staff and provides regular feedback and coaching on performance. * Oversees implementation and use of applicant tracking systems including analytic report design and decision points for end user experience. * Internally influences development and enforcement of policies and standards * Establishes and maintains relationships with other members across multiple divisions within the organization. * Proactively develops relationships with peers, clients, employees, and leaders of the organization. * Identifies opportunities to increase efficiencies with external stakeholders to better meet their needs and the needs of the organization. Successful candidates will be able to successfully bridge relationships with others and have a strong understanding of metrics. Required Qualifications: * Post-secondary education (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business, or related field. * Minimum of 7 years of progressive work experience. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment and selection of which 2 or more were in leadership. Preferred Qualifications: * Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team. * Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR/Talent Acquisition experience. PI124518704
