Parsons' Software Engineers analyze, design, and develop computer software required to support hardware or technical service products. Review system architecture, and select and implement appropriate development and support tools to ensure product performance. Test and debug related software Responsibilities: * Lead software integration efforts of Command and Control data exchange and processing systems * Lead software development team efforts with research, design, development, integration, modification, and documentation of enterprise-wide systems and applications software * Experience with Converting Monolitic application into microservice / Kubernetes * Lead overall system evaluation efforts to include analysis and development of hardware/software interfaces * Strong written and verbal skills * Identify, develop and implement solutions for software related technical issues that could possibly impact costs, schedule, or performance * Lead software development team while adhering to established guidelines, observing all software compliance standards and following technical direction * Experience in Agile software development lifecycle * Knowledge of network architectures and protocols Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer sciences, math, or physical sciences from an accredited institution * 8+ years of experience delivering software solutions for aerospace or space systems, which could include the following: * Active Top Secret security clearance * Experience with Java and/or C programming * Ability to travel 10% Preferred/ Desired Skills: * Knowledgeable in Information and Computer Systems, working knowledge of converged infrastructure and related technologies such as VMware, Networking, and Storage solutions * Experience with programming in C++ and Fortran * Active TS/SCI security clearance Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
