If this sounds like the choice you want to make, then choose MITREand make a difference with us.Responsibilities include: Conducts operational, architecture and impact analysis spanning both software and hardware architectures Develops system simulation frameworks, performance models and algorithms, threat models and command and control models Investigates systems that exhibit intelligent behavior to accomplish tasks that involve capabilities such as perception, learning, navigation, planning, and cooperation Designs and develops software systems or applications for improvements and new products Conducts research in design, development, testing and utilization of computer hardware and softwareMinimum Qualifications: BS and 10 years of related experience, including 2 years of leadership experience Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.Required Qualifications: Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field 10+ years of relevant experience Must be a US citizen with the ability to possess/maintain a DoD SCI clearance Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word Must have demonstrated proficiency and strength in verbal, written, PC, presentation, and communications skills Proficient in one or more high-level languages (eg, Java, C#/.NET, Python, JavaScript, C++) Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and multi-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Business Analysts) Experience with cloud infrastructure and services (eg, Amazon Web Services, OpenStack, Terraform) Experience with VMs and Containers (eg, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Docker) Experience DevOps tools (eg, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Maven, Jenkins) Technical task leadership experience A desire to continually learn and master new technologies Ability to communicate highly technical issues in less technical terms to a wide variety of partner audiences Experience working with DoD and/or civilian government organizations on software development using modern practices (eg Agile, DevSecOps, Lean). Experience with the DoD acquisition system and DoD IT acquisition programsPreferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in technical field of study Candidates that possess a current/active DoD Secret or higher clearance are preferred Working knowledge of Source Control systems (eg, Git, Subversion) Experience with directory services (LDAP, AD) and SSH Experience with the automation of network routing, VM template creation, and/or test engineering pipelines Experience with full stack web development Experience with Major DoD software development programs and cloud solutions, ie PlatformOne Experience with DoD major weapon and IT systemsMITRE is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
