SharePoint Developer/ Graphic Designer Job Summary:
A renowned company in McLean, VA has partnered with Sparks Group to find them a SharePoint Developer/ Graphic Designerfor a long-term contract opportunity. We need an experienced Designer with expertise in both print and digital media. Experience in out-of-the-box and custom websites for SharePoint with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of contemporary web design and development competencies, as well as digital banners and ads, brochures, event materials.

SharePoint Developer/ Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop web sites that are accessible for disabled users in compliance with Federal 508 laws and WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA requirements, to include web pages, scripts, and multimedia.
  • The Ability to create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites and other media, including infographics, brochures, booklets and to support multiple projects and execute on quick-turn direction from clients and creative leads.
  • Looking for someone who can take direction from clients and project managers to translate business strategies into impactful, creative solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of design and web development standards to model, design, and code intuitive, functional, and clean websites and interfaces.
  • Participate in all stages of the project life cycle, from the initial concept through development and deployment.
SharePoint Developer/ Graphic Designer Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design, web development, and developing portals with SharePoint Server and SharePoint Portal Services infrastructure, architecture, implementation, configuration, management, and support.
  • Bachelor's degree graphic design or related field is preferred.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, responsive design, and JavaScript libraries, such as jQuery and Bootstrap.
  • Knowledge developing out-of-the-box (OOTB) and custom solutions for SharePoint.
  • Proficient in Adobe CC, including Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Data-minded individual.
  • Strong customer relationship skills, professional communication skills across all levels of the organization, verbal and written.
  • Experience with wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design, and front-end development.
  • Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with AJAX, ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, and XML a plus.
  • Highly organized, process focused, desire for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
