Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic problem solver and strategic thinker to meet partner needs for both the application portfolio and architecture modeling tool! The Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for taking user requirements and identifying the best solutions. Solutions are innovative, detailed, and practicable. You will work under limited direction in this role and independently resolve and develop approaches to solutions. You will also interact with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters that frequently require coordination across organizational lines.

This role will help lead the application portfolio which collects application and other information from numerous systems of record and aligns data to architecture and business concepts. The application portfolio is used by a large portion of IT and leveraged by over two dozen downstream systems.

The Architecture Modeling Repository is a collaborative work space for storing architecture models. These models are key deliverables in deployment/development activities.

Your Impact:

You will be an integral part of a robust and collaborative team and expected to:
  • Lead team meetings
  • Lead junior team members
  • Run agile stand-ups
  • Advise leadership on roadmaps
  • Supports planning activities, such as impact assessments, requirement/level of effort analysis and developer task assignments
  • Execute strategic objectives of parent organizations
  • Find opportunities for automation, process improvement
  • Build useful reports based on data analysis
  • Collaborate with other teams and organizations


Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in systems development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Significant experience identifying requirements and solutioning outcomes
  • Knowledge of ETL, API and connector-based integrations
  • Proficiency in SQL reading/ query writing
  • Familiarity with Planview CTM (formerly Troux) is a strong plus
  • Validated knowledge of relational databases, XML and web services (SOAP/REST)
  • Experience with SSRS / Tableau / Micro Strategy or similar BI tools
  • Understanding of the system development life cycle and of enterprise architecture
  • Validated understanding of enterprise data architecture and data models
  • Hands-on experience with architecture and business process modeling
  • Knowledge of Data governance. Catalog/Glossary/Metadata Tools such as Collibra and Software AG's ARIS tool
  • Knows how to work within the organization; understands the agendas and perspectives of others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel-including macros and formulas)
