DevOps Engineer Location: McLean VA Duration: Long term Description of duties: Design, develop, test and deploy solutions in a cloud-based infrastructure Solid knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure, Docker and Kubernetes technologies. Triage incoming issues and resolve defects in a timely manner. Work with Product Owner (PO) and business to gather and document functional requirements and proactively document work. Assist with on-boarding new solutions to docker containers Job Requirements: Position requirements: Demonstrate experience in software development with Python, PowerShell. Hands on experience with one of the Cloud providers like AWS Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory or comparable substitutes 1-year experience working with Agile development practices. 1-year experience in technology delivery in a cloud engineering environment Demonstrable experience supporting Linux OS and Windows. Hands-on experience with Chef, Ansible or puppet is a plus Passion for eliminating repetitive manual processes using automation Desired Certifications: AWS CSA (Solutions Architect) Any other certifications related to Cyber security
