BUSINESS ANALYST (eCommerce) DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team to assist in supporting multiple ongoing initiatives for our eCommerce platform. Ideal candidates will have a successful and proven track record in business and functional analysis with a focus on customer experiences. This individual will possess strong organizational and troubleshooting skills as well as refined interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with experience in applying these skills in both technical and non-technical forums. The Business Analyst will lead the continuous enhancement efforts of the SAP-Hybris eCommerce platform by working with Business leads, product management, project management, project stakeholders, and technical staff to analyze and build clear requirements, identify gaps and areas of improvement, enhance project documentation, and drive projects from initiation through completion. Responsibilities Analysis : partner with business stakeholders and Product management to understand priorities, requirements, challenges, and goals. Participate in roadmap planning. Perform comprehensive business analysis to ensure all project goals are understood and translated into functional and workable requirements. As subject matter expert of our eCommerce platform, participate in solution planning for all prioritized initiatives. Documentation : elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements. Provide project level analysis producing required project analysis documentation (user stories, business requirements, process flows, user acceptance criteria, use cases, future state proposals, and UAT plans). Communication : serve as liaison between business stakeholders and technical team. Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders. Evaluate the business needs and translate into technical solutions around the eCommerce platform. Conduct demos during sprint cycle to stakeholders and applicable team members. Collaboration : work closely with developers to implement the requirements, assisting in unblocking the team as needed. Provide necessary guidance to testers during QA and UAT phases. Project Support : assist the Project Management team in developing and maintaining project schedules, project plans, and project specifications. Monitor milestone completion and participate in the tracking of all phases of the project lifecycle. Proactively identify and report issues that could impact project process. Job Requirements: Qualifications Knowledge 5+ years of experience in gathering requirements, conducting business analysis and writing business requirements. Experience working as a Business Analyst in an eCommerce platform focused on customer experiences. Experience with SAP-Hybris is a plus. Experience working with UI/UX and Creative teams to convert design prototypes into detailed requirements. Experience working with 3rd party vendors and offshore project, development and testing teams. Expert in Agile and Scrum project methodologies to drive IT initiatives working with Project Management, Product Management, and various other stakeholders. Technical Skills In-depth knowledge and experience using Project Management software, specifically JIRA and Confluence, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Project. Working knowledge of MS Office products, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Other Skills Excellent analytical, active listening and creative problem-solving skills. Ability to work on many critical projects and initiatives simultaneously. Bachelor's degree in business, information technology or related field.
