Hughes is seeking a SAP ABAP Developer to join the Corporate Information Technology team in Gaithersburg, MD. Responsibilities: Perform coding, implementation, testing, debugging, modification, documentation, and maintenance on applications (Note: This is not full life cycle development) Communicate with both external, and primarily internal vendors. Work as a team player, to support various business functions executed within SAP at EchoStar. Gather information on viable alternative methodologies, as well as the implications in the use of those methods. Basic Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent 5+ years of Software Development experience Prior experience with SAP ABAP ,SAP Object Oriented ABAP, SAP Workflow, SAP Web Dynpro, Smart Forms/SAPscripts, SAP Remote Function calls and SAP Web Services (in SAP Supply Chain, SAP GTS). Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent Possess strong analytical skills. Have developed a wide range of programming skills, with a desire to expand current skill sets in this realm. Ability to produce strong team communication, whether written or verbally.
