A' Candidate selected will be responsible for: Coordinating Platform Interface with Mission Area System-of-Systems Stakeholders. Coordinate and transition approved Flight Plan efforts to appropriate Pillar/IPT teams. System development of architectures to support: Trade studies, concept exploration and development, initial Technical Reviews, POM Issue development, staffing planning, and resource management and allocations associated with Pre-Milestone A activities and decisions. Coordinate architectural products, trade studies, and POM issue sheets with system-of-system stakeholder PMAs & entities. Ensure system-of-system requirements are embedded into program developmental documents. Track and communicate technical constraints. Coordinate possible trade studies with expertise in applicable IPTs and facilitate transition to those IPTs for follow on activities. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related scientific discipline. At least 9 years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering position, three of which must be directly related to naval systems. US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Desired Qualifications: Experience operating in a NAVAIR program office environment. Experience with F/A-18 and/or EA-18G Aircraft systems and operations.
