Helios HR has partnered with Lee Development Group, Inc. (LDG), a real estate asset management company that owns, manages, and develops a portfolio of properties including commercial office, retail, flex, warehouse, industrial lots, self-storage facilities and underdeveloped farmland, in their search for a Commercial Building Maintenance Engineer . In this role, the Engineer would provide efficient mechanical operations and carry out preventative maintenance programs to ensure preservation and upkeep of the building s equipment. Additionally, the qualified incumbent will be required to supervise the Day Porter(s) assigned to the building as well as provide or report to Property Manager any required services. Availability to work after hours is required along with carrying a company cell phone and being a first responder for emergencies when required. Job Requirements: Responsibilities: Oversight of Building HVAC mechanical, electrical, and plumbing as well as any preventative maintenance Ensure proper comfort conditions for tenants and common areas Manage day-to-day maintenance work orders and repairs Manage exterior maintenance as needed Maintain basic files and records relative to building operation Identify safety hazards within the building and developing plans to mediate the hazards ensuring the safety of tenants and occupants Assist in the oversight of major projects performed in the building and ensuring these projects are planned and executed in accordance with industry standards. Responsible for the oversight of activities of contractor working in the building as an LDG representative. Responsible for snow removal with snow blowers and/or shovels Supervision of Day Porter(s) Qualifications: 2-5 years relevant experience Basic knowledge of tools, to include but not limited to hand tools, saws, drills, sewer equipment, Multi meters Strong knowledge and experience commercial HVAC Strong experience in electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance skills Previous experience dealing with building tenants and vendors Preferred Qualifications: Basic plan reading CFC certified NAPE classes or related certifications and trainings Lee Development Group offers competitive benefits, including medical and dental insurance and retirement.
