Customer Service Representative - Parking
Overview JBG SMITH is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our growing Mobility team! Responsibilities Reporting to the VP, of Mobility, the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for: Monthly parking duties including, but not limited to invoicing/billing of monthly parking accounts, assist with adding/deleting accounts via online or through parking management software. Assist customers and tenants with account and payment related questions. Speak to customers and tenants both face to face and via telephone. Process payments through parking management system. Process payments and credit validation accounts for tenants. Review and manage Accounts Receivable with VP, Mobility, Financial Analyst, and Accountant. Audit parking access against accounting system to ensure accurate AR and access. Ensure key card audits and key controls are being followed. Assist with tenant trainings on validations and system switch overs. Maintain review of parking accounts to ensure accurate record keeping. Work closely with Parking Operations teams across portfolio to assist with account management. Code invoices to projects. Code payments to appropriate buildings/accounts. Qualifications Must be high school graduate or possess equivalency. At least six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to generate reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, customers, and the general public. Spanish speaker a plus but not required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Use of MS office products and willingness to learn new software related to department. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Complete and submit reports on time and accurately. Ability to operate basic office equipment such as copier, fax, computer, typewriter, calculator, and telephone. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms and to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
