Reporting to Company s Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will be a key member of the leadership team and have primary day-to-day responsibility for all sales and marketing, including setting strategy and leading the team, for Company Recruit software and eCommerce network. Responsibilities include: Sales : overall ownership of the revenue metric, including both new sales, renewals and eCommerce. The VP will manage dedicated Sales Reps for pipeline qualification as well as closing or renewing deals. The VP will directly participate in closing significant deals. Marketing : oversight and collaboration with Marketing team to generate awareness and upstream pipeline. This includes messaging, target personas, helping create campaigns, and evangelizing the product at industry conferences. The VP will also collaborate with Marketing to direct digital marketing strategies. Business Development : ownership of business development and partnerships. This includes the strategic acquisition and management of additional sales channels and value add relationships for the recruit product line. Customer Care and Account Management : the VP owns the client experience. A significant portion of revenue is derived from renewals and upsells. The Executive must be involved in post-sales customer onboarding, support and satisfaction for the product. Strategy : In collaboration with the CEO, responsible for competitive analysis, pricing, partnerships, planning, and all other aspects required to navigate a product successfully in the market. Product : the VP will work in conjunction with the CEO and a dedicated Product Manager and matrixed engineering team to set long-term roadmap, prioritize new feature development, and triage incoming customer requests. The ideal candidate should possess the following experience, knowledge and technical skills: Industry Experience : A minimum of 4-8 years sales management experience with a superior track record of accomplishment and growing top line revenues in a SaaS environment; the candidate must have worked directly in the online recruiting space, or in a company selling SaaS solutions to the Human Resources area of Fortune 2000 corporations; e-commerce and International experience are a plus. Sales Management Expertise: Take an aggressive, hands-on approach in leading his/her team in all sales activities; develop and implement innovative structure to drive sales revenue; implement strategies, tactics and solution-oriented selling methodologies to acquire new customers and position Company Recruit for success. Drive, as appropriate, the recruitment, training, and building of a high-caliber staff of experienced sales professionals. Serve as a coach and mentor to those subordinates, empowering them to achieve professional development and performance goals while molding the overall organization into a highly skilled, hard-hitting team. Marketing and Digital Marketing : Experience with digital marketing and e-commerce strategies to drive transactions and for lead generation.
