As part of our team, the Manager will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Create and maintain feature backlogs and product documentation such as user stories, use cases, user flows, logic flows, and functional specifications. Lead product requirement and vision discussions with clients; act as a trusted advisor for day-to-day and senior clients. Help define the product vision, goals, functionality and requirements. Define the product vision, strategy and roadmap. Collaborate with highly creative user experience experts, visual designers and engineers to reach the best possible version of a feature or product to bring to market. Prioritize development activities with engineering teams, and assist in determining the best technical implementation methods, work closely with QA on acceptance testing and lead product launches. Run beta and pilot programs during the qualifying phase with almost final products and prototypes. In Agile environments, regularly review completed work and checks with customers to ensure that it meets the customer expectations. Develop the business case for new products, improvements to existing products, and business ventures. Define product marketing communication objectives and helps to oversee the planning, design and production of the marketing strategy. Lead internal Product Management team initiatives and participate in overall knowledge and skills development with the team. Establish shared vision by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution. Help define and refine working processes in order to maximize efficiency in constantly evolving environments. Define what to solve and articulates the valuable market problem to solve, along with priorities and justification for each part of the solution. Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management. Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work. Manage business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials. Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization). Act as performance manager (coach) for up to four coachees outside of engagement responsibilities. Interview campus and/or experienced candidates. Job Requirements: Understanding and experience implementing products according to the US Digital Service principles and playbook. Understanding of public sector constraints and guidance on user research methods. Familiarity with large-scale, enterprise product initiatives and projects. Experience with large, complex public sector technology systems and platforms. Experience building digital products across multiple device types and screen sizes for a consumer audience. Interim Secret acceptable Bachelor s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field. Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees. US citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required. Travel may be required. Coach and mentor junior staff members. Ability to work overtime required on occasion. Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally. Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements. Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
