Operations Manager Job Description Our client is seeking to hire an Operations Manager in their Manassas, Virginia office with experience in the Security Integration / Network Communications industry to join their leadership team. The Operations Manager will lead the service and installation team, including developing and implementing operational policies and procedures. You will also help promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance. Successful candidates will have prior experience in a management or leadership position and a solid understanding of financial management. Operations Manager Responsibilities: Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures. Assist with recruiting. Demonstrate excellent customer service. Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing. Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations. Plan short and long-term goals. Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company. Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations. Support worker communication with the management team. Operations Manager Requirements: Experience in management, operations, and leadership. Eligible to obtain and maintain a Security clearance. Problem solving skills. Capacity to work well in groups and the ability to lead a team. Industry specific technical skills and attention to detail. Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, and cash-flow management. Excellent communication skills. Bachelor s degree in operations management or related field a plus.
