Job Summary Perform accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization s financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements. Job Responsibilities Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of journal entries to ensure general ledger is accurate and complete Review and analyze financial information and prepare required financial reports and accounting statements to support the management team with good decision making. This may include profit and loss statements, revenue by station, invoice statuses, debtor and creditor lists, repayment schedules, regulatory reports and filings. Provide support and advice for all auditing processes both internal and external (eg, airport authorities) Proactively manage all tasks related to the invoicing process Contribute and participate in the annual budget review process Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational area managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities Provide support on key accounting processes (set up of cost centers, new customer set up, billing, centralized control checks and balances etc.) Coach less experienced accounting staff and help them resolve problems. Establish and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Key Performance Indicators (Optional) Accurately and timely reports Customer satisfaction Qualifications and Competencies University finance degree (or equivalent) plus Certified Public Accountant CPA (or equivalent) 3-5 years relevant work experience Excellent understanding of ERP Systems (eg, SAP) Strong analytical skills Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and easy familiarization with new IT Tools Ability to work under demanding deadlines, flexible, communicative and ability to work in teams Good decision making skills based on facts and analyses Good relationship building skills Strong customer focus and problem solving skills Personal and professional integrity of the highest order Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Swissport as an equal opportunity employer bases its hiring decisions on the business need and the best qualified candidates available, and does not discriminate in its employment decisions on the basis of any protected category.
