ECS is seeking a Business Intelligence and Analytics SME to work in our Washington, DC office. Job Description: We are currently seeking an innovative, organized, and communicative Business Intelligence Subject Matter Expert to join our team. This role will be responsible for increasing team operational and technical maturity, evaluating and expanding platform capabilities, and driving customer engagement for a suite of platform offerings. Functions include: Act as primary technical POC for the client maintaining current applications and defining a future state vision for service management and technology adoption Be responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing customer platform requirements and driving engagement efforts to modernize the service by working with federal and team stakeholders to establish architectures, plans, and deployment strategies for new capabilities Work with engineering teams to ensure platform capabilities and support application level requirements Lead root cause analysis, coordinating incident triage, and the promotion of technical best practices for the platform Support task delegation and serve as an escalation point across the team to support issue monitoring and resolution Produce and ensure quality and accuracy of system engineering lifecycle documentation and architectural diagrams Support the platform in maintaining its security posture and in coordinating, developing, implementing information assurance and security standards in coordination with the designated ISSO and ISSM Define a technology roadmap that supports platform cloud readiness and lead the migration of the platform to a cloud environment Required Skills: A Bachelor's degree in a related field or an additional 3 years' equivalent experience 10+ years' progressive project experience, primarily in information systems development, project management from inception to deployment 7+ years' progressive technical experience related to Business Intelligence and Data Analytics technologies (ie Oracle OBIEE, Tableau, ERWIN, Informatica, Microsoft PowerBI) Experience advising management and directing teams to improve technology use or improve capabilities, reliability, and stability Experience maintaining and configuring technology service platforms Experience leading large-scale product implementations through all phases of product lifecycle ECS is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.
