NVE, Inc., a Woman-Owned, Small Business Government Contractor, is seeking a proven, dynamic executive as our Vice President of Business Development & Capture to lead the company in pursuing Federal contracts in the areas of Facility Support Services, Program & Administrative Support and Physical Security. The Vice President of Business Development will report directly to the President and will work out of the NVE corporate office in Herndon, Virginia. The selected candidate will have experience in both capture and proposal management and will be in charge of supporting the growth of existing business units by identifying, qualifying and tracking opportunities in line with our core capabilities as well as adjacent service areas and then forming and managing teams that will produce competitive proposals. The ideal candidate will have a network of contacts that can consult for NVE in the area of proposal management, technical writing and proposal production on an as needed basis. Duties to include: Establishing capture management and proposal development processes Conducting analysis of the Federal Marketplace and identify target agencies Identifying, qualifying and tracking Federal opportunities Gathering intelligence regarding upcoming opportunities Identifying potential teaming partners in each line of business Developing proposal win strategies Assisting corporate Program Managers in bid/no bid decisions Managing corporate capture efforts Assembling proposal teams to respond to solicitations Building a pipeline of opportunities with a high win probability Desired Skills & Experience: Bachelors required 5+ years of experience in business development including capture and proposal management Experienced in Federal procurement with an understanding of the FAR Excellent work ethic Self-starter Excellent writing and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple business development efforts simultaneously Experience using Govwin and CRM software to manage Business Development pipelines Proficient in Microsoft Office The applicant must be a US Citizen and must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance,
