This role requires a skilled and experienced analyst with the ability to conceptualize and deliver reliable and actionable products to executive management and tactical operators. Applicants should have a strong background serving as a threat intelligence analyst with experience in law enforcement, military, government or the private sector. Responsibilities: Lead and own projects involving multiple team members and stakeholders to identify, contextualize and assess potential cyber threats to Capital One Help Cyber and the business understand global cyber events and mitigate threats as they relate to Capital One Lead investigations of cyber threat campaigns and drive recommended actions for Capital One Work with Cyber Intelligence collectors to identify and address information gaps and with strategic analysts to identify emerging threats Build productive relationships with customers, stakeholders, and sources throughout the business Author written products for large and diverse audiences within Capital One Brief customers throughout the business on current cyber threats and events Help bring reason to our analysis and ensure our communications to the business resonate Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification At least eight years of experience in cyber threat analysis At least four years of experience with intelligence At least two years working in cyber risk Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in working cyber-related threats in the private or public sector 4+ years of experience leading and owning projects involving multiple team members or stakeholders with limited oversight 4+ years of writing products concerning global, cyber, or business threats 2+ years of experience directly working issues related to the cyber threat landscape for US financial institutions Proven track record of developing high-impact products on emerging threats and technical trends At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
