ECS is seeking a Mid-Level Application Developer to work in our Washington DC office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Job Description: ECS is seeking a Mid-Level Application Developer to support implementation of an enterprise content management system for our Federal customer. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: You will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and operations support. You will have ability to work with a small team of developers in the construction and deployment of incremental, high-quality, high-value releases. As a Mid-level Engineer, you will clearly communicate architectural vision, decisions, designs, risks, problems, and technical details to client stakeholders and team members. Required Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related IT field Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder, Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. 7+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale enterprise application development and deployment using Java/JavaScript technologies. Extensive experience with one or more technologies - XML, XSLT, JQuery, REST APIs and JavaScript. Demonstrate knowledge in: RSuite CMS, Oxygen, DeltaXML, Tomcat / Apache and MarkLogic. Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to solve complex software problems.
