TEKsystems is looking for a mid-level Windows Administrator along with a Windows SME to support a mission critical program. This is a mission-critical DHS contract that controls the no-fly list and helps prevent incidents like 9/11 from happening again. Candidates must have an *Active Secret Clearance* and be able to obtain a TSA clearance. Top Skills Details1. Active Secret Clearance 2. General systems administration familiarity with other tools such as VMware, Active Directory, SCCM) Non technical Requirements: * Ability to work on individual tasks, as well as team oriented tasks * Ability to prioritize competing priorities * Ability to work under a cross matrix management structure * Required to be on call and respond in a timely manner Mid-Level: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Install and configure Windows operating systems to include Server 2008 R2, Server 2012, Server 2016, Server 2019, and Windows 10 in virtual and physical environment's * Familiar with SCCM 2012 and higher Infrastructure * Configure server and workstation hardware as necessary according to system requirements * Install and configure required applications via SCCM Environment * Utilize Microsoft SCCM 2012 to apply Microsoft security patches to Windows servers and workstations * Familiar with MS SQL Server database troubleshooting * Troubleshooting Hyper V and VMWare Infrastructure * Building/Supporting DISA Stig requirements based on security policies and procedures * Utilize McAfee Server to apply anti-virus policies and update definitions * Create, modify, and delete user accounts and groups in Active Directory * Troubleshoot server, workstation, and user experience issues and track work with Remedy * Create and configure virtual machines as necessary * Experience with NTFS file and share permissions * Ensure adequate backup for all recovery scenarios * Planning and implementing patches and Service Packs * Reviewing logs for errors or potential problem alerts and taking corrective action * Planning and ensuring redundancy for all critical components * Maintain Virus protection on all Windows devices * Maintaining documentation reflecting the current operational environment * Experience troubleshooting network and domain related issues SME Level: * In coordination with the team of Windows System Administrators, architect and design the environment to automate processes to install, configure, and maintain Windows Operating Systems (OS). * The successful candidate will be able to analyze and resolve problems associated with the operating system, hardware, architecture, applications, and software. They detect, diagnose, and report Windows related problems on servers. They must possess expertise with varied concepts, standard best business practices, and procedures and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. They are expected to perform a variety of tasks without supervision. * Provide Subject Matter Expertise for the following services supported by the team in a multitenancy environment: Active Directory (AD), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Virtualized Machines in Hyper-V and VMware running Windows OS (Includes Virtual Desktops and Servers) * Responsible for the security and management of Windows servers and desktops in non-production and production environments * Solve complex integration and technical problems in a dynamic fast-paced environment * Work with other Systems Administrators, DBAs, and application developers to resolve various system issues * Requires 24x7 on call support on a rotating basis This client is a rapidly-growing small business and government integrator that is large enough to offer room for growth and small enough to deliver with agility and versatility.
