A large commercial real estate firm located in Tysons Corner is seeking two Lease Administrators to work in a busy leasing department. These are direct hire opportunities. Responsibilities include:
  • Perform the review of detailed commercial real estate lease abstracting of financial and non-financial lease clauses into multiple commercial management software
  • Knowledgeable about base rent, percentage rent, operating expense (CAM), real estate tax and insurance obligations
  • Works with all departments regarding lease documents or providing lease details for due diligence of property evaluations
  • Assists with tenant account questions and disputes
  • Processes and monitors leases from post-execution through expiration of lease term.
  • Generates and posts monthly recurring rental charges
  • Calculates and posts annual tenant operating expense reconciliations.
  • Handles calculations for budgeting potential rent and operating expense recoveries.


Job Requirements

  • 3 years' experience in Lease Administration
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to understand, interpret and abstract complex commercial lease terminology
  • Advanced Excel and Word
  • Experience using lease management databases
  • Strong written/verbal communication
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects with time sensitive deadlines
  • MRI knowledge a plus
  • Possess critical thinking skills
  • Must be able to interact with all levels of management and staff and clients.
