The American Enterprise Institute seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join AEI's individual fundraising team in executing strategic operations. In this position, you will focus on maintaining, building, and leveraging AEI's database to support the fundraising team in cultivating strong relationships with donors. Other day-to-day responsibilities will include researching donors and prospects, preparing marketing materials, and executing mass hard copy and email communications.

We are seeking a self-starter who is highly motivated to find opportunities for advanced efficiency and increased results. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and creative problem solver who is process-oriented and results driven. You must exercise a meticulous attention to detail while also connecting those details to the broader team goals. In this role, you will work closely with AEI's senior fundraising team as we develop and execute on high-level fundraising priorities. You will gain advanced operational and communications skills while working within one of Washington's most advanced nonprofits.

A bachelor's degree and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is required. Experience using Salesforce or a modern CRM preferred. A strong familiarity with or experience working in fundraising or a nonprofit environment is a plus. A keen interest in current events, public policy, and AEI's mission is a must.
