Adventist HealthCare Home Health seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Rockville Maryland region who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

The Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing nursing care to patients in their home in accordance to the treatment based on physicians' orders under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor. The Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) maintains continuity of patient care through the collaboration of the total care plan with the patient's healthcare team, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Services, Nutritional and Chaplain Services according to physician's orders and under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor.

As a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN), you will:
• Supervise the work of field Home Health Aid/LPN staff
• Coordinates plan of care with patient's healthcare team (Physical Therapist, Physician, Occupational Therapist, Home Health Aides).
• Document patient care and related information according to Federal and State regulations and established standards.
• Planning and evaluation of patient care that is comprehensive and organized to achieve its goals
• Meets standards set by agency demonstrating flexibility, commitment and adaptability
• Appropriately assesses all factors that impact patient and patient's condition
• Makes appropriate interventions to provide for safe and effective care addressing all of patient's needs

Qualifications include:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Valid Maryland RN license required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• One years full time experience in Medical/Surgical or facility nursing within the past five years
• Valid Driver's License with agency insurance requirements
