The Producer Professional opportunity in the Small Balance Lending Group of the Multifamily Division is responsible for managing multiple SBL Lender originator relationships, including managing business in-flows and shepherding the business through the process. Our Impact:
  • The Producer will engage in market assessments, marketing the program to local brokerage, borrower relationships and other activities related to the program.
  • The Producer also works internally with the Production and Regional SBL Underwriting teams; and, externally, attends industry and marketing events to help market the Freddie Mac SBL execution.
Your Impact:Sourcing loan applications with our SBL Seller Servicers
  • Work with SBL Lenders on individual and portfolio loan transactions
  • Coordinate Program and Credit Requirements with the SBL Underwriting team and SBL Lender
  • Inspect properties and conduct market evaluation trips with and without SBL Lenders

Marketing the SBL Program to Investment and Sales Professionals, Brokers and Borrowers
  • Performing outreach and marketing to and with SBL Lenders in meetings with Mortgage Brokers and Sponsors
  • Speaking and participating at Conferences and other hosted events
  • Coordinating with the SBL Marketing and other departments

Expanding the offering and managing the relationships and their business flow
  • Working with SBL Regional and Program Management in support of process improvements
  • Working with Freddie Mac Multifamily Division on systems and other process flow changes

Supporting origination of all loans in the Region or assigned territory
  • Monitor and evaluate the Regional Loan pipeline and assess volume, loan quality and sponsorship
  • Work with the Sellers to secure efficient Cycle Times and improve Mission Business
  • Coordinating as necessary with Freddie Mac Asset Management, Reporting and other business units.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-4+ years of Commercial Real Estate or equivalent lending experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Production, Credit and/or Asset Management experience with multifamily properties
  • GSE, bank or small property loan production and underwriting experience

  • Experience working with Borrowers and Lenders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • Strong analytical and real estate finance experience
  • Excellent negotiation skills
