Summary

As an Organizational Development Specialist in the Office of Leadership Development and Organizational Development, you will provide support to the OCC Employee Engagement Program. Through solicitation, compilation, and analysis of organizational data, you will support the Organizational Consultants with engaging employees and enabling change, empowering individuals and teams, and enhancing organizational performance and achieving measurable business results.

Responsibilities

As an Organizational Development Specialist, you will:
  • Provide support to the OCC Engagement Program in the areas of: FEVS analysis and reports; FEVS administrative assistance; Non-FEVS data analysis; Pulse survey administration; Engagement Toolkit upkeep; Employee experience and integration; and CM support for Engagement Strategy.
  • Serve as a resource in change management and group processes including conflict management and two-way communication forums.
  • Facilitate and coach managers and employee teams in strategic planning, priority setting, team effectiveness,
    conflict resolution, determining customer needs, mapping/improving core business processes, conducting best practice and benchmarking studies, and establishing up-front operating and outcome measures.
  • Support the organizational consultants in advising senior leaders and their management teams on strategies for implementing major organizational/operational changes.
  • Help to identify potential problems with the implementation of new policies or programs, operational processes, and provides solutions. Provide input on how to resolve problems and strengthen processes.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 60 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:

Specialized Experience:

You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB IV band level or GS-11 grade level n the federal service. The experience may have been gained in either the public or private sector. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:
  • Analyzing engagement or workforce data to make recommendations for organizational improvements. AND
  • Gathering and assessing organizational information to consult with management officials.

The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.

  • Salary range includes 22.26% geographical pay.
