Our Impact:
The Loan Closing, Loan Coverage & Credit Risk Transfer business rules teams; builds & enhances 3 custom high-quality, flexible, and transparent, Business Rules Services. Each rule service provides our customers with the ability to quickly adapt how their business policy is enforced & external customer feedback is provided in response to market changes, customer needs or internal changes in direction.

Our modern delivery team works with our business partners to prioritize and scope releases, design quality solutions and model business rules that are transparent, logical, and easy to maintain, using the "Decision Modeling" methodology.

The rules are implemented in our "Enterprise Decision Service (EDS)" which is used by applications and business processes throughout Freddie Mac's largest line of business, the Single-Family business.
Your Impact:
As a Business Rules Analyst Senior, you will:
  • Help prioritize and plan the upcoming sprints
  • Work with Rules product owner and Business product owners to scope & plan changes to the business rules
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and rules grooming sessions with stakeholders
  • Partner with IT to find innovate solutions
  • Work with teammates to model and test business rules to ensure the proper business outcome
  • Build your knowledge of Freddie Mac business policy and coach new or junior staff
Qualifications:
  • Typically has minimum of 5-10 years related experience
  • College Degree or work equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Business Requirements experience is preferred
  • Business rules or Decision Modeling experience is preferred
  • Mortgage Industry or Financial Services experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of Business Process Management is preferred
  • Service Oriented Architecture or Application experience is preferred
  • Agile or standard project life cycle Experience is preferred
