Position Overview:

We are seeking a hardworking and hands-on senior AWS developer to design, build, implement and maintain several data and micro-service solutions on AWS and Cloud Native Data Lake platforms. As a senior member of an agile modern delivery team, you will be working on multiple projects that will serve a variety of critical Loan Advisory Suite business needs. You will also be taking part in our current effort to modernize our platform using industry standard cloud-based technologies.

As part of Platform & Data Solutions organization, we are an eco-system that enables optimal, real-time loan evaluation and purchase decisions across Single Family by providing the right data at the right time to the Loan Advisory Suite of applications. We are also leading the change to build several data solutions using our Cloud Native Data Lake platform that enable consolidating, centralizing and consuming shared data for the enterprise to serve various data analytics and reporting needs.

Your Impact:

In this role, you will be part of the team to pave the way by building for the future working on state-of-the-art tools and technologies in alignment with business objectives. You will be researching, learning and implementing innovative, creative and effective solutions to support real-time back-end needs of Loan Advisory Suite of applications that support the Loan Origination process and analytical data needs of the enterprise.

  • 5+ years of experience in software development using Java technologies
  • 3+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs
  • 3+ years of database technologies Oracle, DB2, Mongo DB, No SQL DBs
  • 3+ years of experience developing microservices, containers, frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience in any of Cloud technologies like AWS S3, EC2, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes/Amazon EKS
  • 2+ years of experience in any of RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, Elastic Search
  • Experience developing on Big Data platforms preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in Snowflake or similar
  • 1 + years of experience building ETL processes using Talend or similar
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or IT, Advanced degree preferred
