Position Overview:

Our Impact:
As the Application Business Owners, we ares responsible for the management and coordination of significant projects (e.g., strategic change management, new business and product initiatives, process re-engineering, establishment of control procedures) within our infrastructure area during the loan origination lifecycle. We coordinate changes to our applications, act as the SME to the Offerings Team and IT, and drive resolution when issues arise. We are responsible for supporting the product teams working on various projects/changes and serve as SME on the same. We support and act as advisor to the Prod Support Baseline team that performs validation of changes going in production.

Your Impact:

Communications & Stakeholder Management
  • Cultivate and manage relationships across multiple Single-Family departments, including; Operations application or business process owners, Loan Advisor Strategic Delivery and Single-Family Data, Modern Delivery teams.
  • Facilitate and prepare for meetings including creating agendas, develop meeting materials, scribe meeting minutes and outline action items and next steps.

Planning & Prioritization
  • Prepare for meetings by establishing a clear objective, confirming attendee participation and creating meeting materials ahead of the discussion.
  • Serve as SME and actively participate in the backlog refinements, iteration planning, release planning to provide feedback on the user stories.
  • Understand and identify any impacts to performance or any other operational procedure for the requirements.

Data Profiling & Documentation
  • Provide support to application owners to bring data expertise from IT into the business.
  • Provide project support to evaluate and document data requirements and operational controls.
  • Perform impact assessments and proposing issue resolution and operational improvements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, business process modeling, change management, or operations.
  • Pro-active, detail oriented individual with strong planning skills and an ability to develop and motivate others, set clear goals, manage expectations and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to multi-task, ask questions, and learn business processes quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of working within a team as well as an individual contributor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Knowledge and experience in the primary or secondary mortgage markets.
