The Logistics Specialist will provide logistic support for Government property including; hardware such as personal computers (PCs), printers, scanners, plotters, modems, card readers, and other non-IT hardware.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide IT operational logistics including; creating and updating of inventory documents, for hardware and software within multiple facilities;
  • Assist in the disposal of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Monitor usage of IT consumables such as toners, batteries, equipment filters, etc. and inform the Government at least 30 calendar days prior to the expiration or depletion of said consumables
  • Move, track, and excess equipment and various hardware.
  • Manage hardware logistics support to include packing, unpacking, assembling, setting up, labeling, inventorying, and creating/updating property transfer documentation.
  • Provide support to the GISO Hand Receipt Holder by ensuring that all property transfers are approved and documented
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
    • High school diploma/GED required
    • 1 years of Logistics Support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • DoD 8570 IAT II preferred.
    • TS/SCI clearance required.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Must have advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook

    • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
    • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
