Our Impact:
Our team develops world class decision models that implement policy in the form of business rules that are transparent, logical, and easy to maintain, and deliver those business rules via ground-breaking enterprise decision services to support the evaluation of loans throughout the loan life cycle.
Your Impact:
In this role, you will be expected to:
  • Implement the Decision Model methodology to manage business logic (e.g. rules) for the enterprise decision management service used by applications and business processes throughout Freddie Mac's largest line of business, the Single-Family business
  • Iterate through business requests and perform impact analysis
  • Recommend approaches/solutions to problems and communicate pros & cons to drive product strategy
  • Write user stories based on business-driven functionality as well as technical capabilities
  • Promote direct conversations across the Agile team and work closely with both product (business) and IT
  • Author Business Rules and work with test teams to ensure expected behavior
  • Develop, execute, and analyze SIT test suites to ensure final product meets business request
  • Share ideas for process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Master how to apply decision modeling and rule change processes to solve business challenges
  • Champion cross-training initiatives to enhance the cross functional abilities of the team
  • Typically has minimum of 2-5 years related experience
  • College Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Business Requirements Experience is preferred
  • Business rules or Decision Modeling Experience is preferred
  • Mortgage Industry or Financial Services Experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of Business Process Management is preferred
  • Service Oriented Architecture or Application Experience is preferred
  • Agile or standard project life cycle Experience is preferred
